About the Author
As a small boy in the early 1980s nothing seemed more exciting to Keiron Pim than a visit to London’s renowned Natural History Museum, where he would gaze up at the Diplodocus skeleton and later depart clutching some little dinosaur-related memento: an eraser shaped like Stegosaurus, a lurid poster of a Jurassic scene, or a book crammed with dino-facts. It would have blown his four-year-old mind to know that thirty years later a book on dinosaurs would be his first publication. Keiron, married with three young daughters, is a writer and journalist now based in Norfolk, England.

John “Jack” Horner is one of the world’s foremost paleontologists, credited with finding the first dinosaur eggs in the Western Hemisphere, the first evidence of dinosaur colonial nesting, the first evidence of parental care among dinosaurs, and the first dinosaur embryos. He served as the inspiration for Paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant in Michael Crichton’s Jurassic Park, and as the technical advisor on all of the Jurassic Park films. Horner is Curator of Paleontology at the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, Montana, and Regents Professor of Paleontology at Montana State University.

This book was exactly what I was searching for!

This is a perfect first book for learning about dinosaur breeds, what period they're from, how to pronounce their names and what they mean, their statistics, and their discovery history. It gives an easy and organized visual to help break all these things down so it's not a boring read. I'd suggest it for most people who love learning about these creatures and wanting to extend their knowledge in dinosaurs. I would not suggest it however if you have started a dinosaur library and are already pretty knowledgeable in them. It's definitely a beginner's guide - comparable to a 101 college class let's say. I attached an example of a page about a dinosaur to see the layout (my favorite dinosaur too!).

Great sweeping overview of known dinosaus

Excellent volume, including many species only announced in the last two years. Great reference for the many species that have been discovered. While not all known dinosaus are included, nor could they realistically fit in one volume, those missing have close relatives feature and this facilitates comprehension of the families and types of the vast range of dinosaurs.

There's probably a kitchen sink in here somewhere, too. Somehow, Feist always manages to wring out another plot twist or scrape together a new and improved gaggle of bad guys to keep the stew bubbling; the real puzzle is how the fans tolerate his graceless, often downright inept prose and limping dialogue. A satisfying conclusion (?) to another great Feist saga

There is a difference in this saga than the former, and many have already mentioned that it seems to hurry along too much.
I thoroughly enjoyed this series, but thought the ending was a little "too easy" and just too expected. I was hoping for something more.
I disagree with others that say the characters were not interesting, i was happy to re-visit Pug, Calis and Tomas all over again.
Alot of people also gripe about the revelation of mysteries previously proposed in the previous series. Well, as a long-time reader of sagas that just never die (DragonLance), I was thoroughly happy to finally learn WHO Macros, understand Miranda's history and I love the "Simpkin-like" (Weis/Hickman reference) character in Nakor.
Everyone is a bit too critical, but i agree that it was sad to see Midkemia reduced to ruin. Parts of the story were EXTREMELY SAD, but then, all characters cannot live to be realistic.
I feel Raymond's goal in this series was to put to rest an excellent era of life on Midkemia. Some have mentioned the posibility of another book, I feel one could be written, but this ROADK really seemed like an end-all to everything.
Also, this has to be the most reviews I have ever seem on Amazon... wow!

ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I'VE EVER READ!

The thing I liked most about this book was Fiest accomplished what he couldn't before and what most writers cannot and that is really making the reader feel a loss when a character dies.
Yes, its sad when you have a favorite character and they die, but I want to really feel heavyhearted as if someone really did die. I want the books realistic as possible. Isn't this why we read these books? We read to enjoy them, to laugh and yes to cry!
Unfortunately, when characters die in recent fantasy novels (which is rare), I feel nothing. Probably because the characters feel nothing. When Lockleare died in "Prince of the Blood" I wanted James to be really hurt by his best friend's death. There really wasn't much written of this. When Arutha died, again I wanted to feel James' hurt, but I didn't in the "Shadow of a Dark Queen". At least not until "Rage of the Demon King" that I finally got my true feelings from James. The loss of Arutha hit Ja! ! mes hard as he himself describes. The deaths of some other characters were written beautifully. I truly was saddened. This is what we should feel. Fantasy is fiction yes, but it reflects life in all aspects. "Rage of a Demon King" accomplishes this. All good guys do not always live forever and those that do happen to die are not immediately forgotten. If readers want to read a book and feel like what they are reading is actually happening, then PLEASE READ THIS BOOK!

The pages are large with plenty of room to fill in details for each day and have designs at the top of each page for coloring. The front pages include a list of important dates and holidays for 2017, plus year-at-a-glance pages for 2017 and 2019. Additional pages are included in the back for names and addresses and notes. Super adorable!

I bought this book for my medical terminology class. This book is amazing in that it also teaches you about anatomy and physiology. I wish I would have learned basic terms by using this book before I took anatomy and physiology courses. Although I am taking the class for my nursing program, this book will be a wonderful way to be familiar with medical terminology. Also, this does not teach you memorize like you are studying Latin, instead this book guides you to understand the roots, prefixes, and suffixes. Finally, the website for this book has wonderful resources such as quizzes, tests, and fun games to retrieve your memory.

The book provides good practice questions and all the answers in the back to see if you got them right. It is a really helpful book in that it give good examples and descriptions of the terminology. In addition, they neatly organize all the different terminologies in charts which is good visually.
